Jod (Jodbhir) Mehta

BIO

Prof. Dr. Jod S Mehta is the Head of the Tissue Engineering and Stem Cell Group at the
Singapore Eye Research Institute and Head of the Corneal Service and Senior Consultant in
the Refractive Service of the Singapore National Eye Center (SNEC). Dr. Jod Mehta completed
his medical school training from Oxford University and United Medical Schools of Guys and St Thomas’s, University of London.
Assoc Prof Jod Mehta is a senior consultant ophthalmologist and corneal and refractive
specialist at SNEC, focusing on corneal transplantation – penetrating keratoplasty, lamellar
keratoplasty and endothelial keratoplasty, femtosecond laser technology, corneal imaging,
corneal infections, corneal refractive surgery, keratoprosthesis surgery and corneal genetics.
